Join actor William Shatner and New York based photographer Joe DiMaggio on a photo safari to the "land of milk and honey", the country of Israel. Our photographic nomads start their journey exploring the incredible Negev Desert in southern Israel. The world's largest crater, known as the Ramon Crater is the focus for a segment on desert landscape photography. The ibex, which is a close relative of the antelope and an endangered species, is encountered in the Negev quite frequently and our photo safarians were able to pursue some very close images of this unique desert animal. A camel ride with the Bedouins rounds out an outstanding desert photo safari.
