The intrepid William Shatner, along with his photographic mentor, Joe DiMaggio, continue their exploration of Israel moving to the northern regions of this very diverse country. Thousands of migratory birds filter through the Huleh Valley every year in September on their way to wintering grounds in Africa. Our photographers were in the right place at the right time to capture many exceptional images of a wide assortment of this avian spectacle. William and Joe climb to the impressive hilltop fortress of Masada where commanding views of the majestic Dead Sea and 3000-year old ruins await them. We rap up our safari with a visit to the holiest city of them all, Jerusalem for some very sacred photography of the Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, and the walled cities very picturesque streets.
