When it comes to who's sexy and who's cool, we know who we like, and so do you. But who do the celebs -- sports and nonsports -- admire when they're all thrown together in one pulsating swarm at the ESPYs? Page 2 went into Woodward & Bernstein undercover mode to find out .. and we keep no secrets from our readers.

If there's one thing we know about any major sporting event, it's that there must be winners and there must be losers (we're writing off the All-Star Game as a never-to-be-repeated gaffe). Which is why Page 2's Dan Shanoff bravely stepped into the breach and separated the celebs at the ESPY Awards into those who dressed to kill and those who dressed like a Joan and Melissa Rivers bad dream.

The Sports Guy The Hot List
From Sunday's bizarre Celebrity Softball Game through Bud's Folly, The Sports Guy was at all of this week's All-Star festivities. He marveled at the resiliency of Coolio and gasped as baseball again proved it couldn't get out of its own way with a road map. If that wasn't enough, he also provided Page 2 with his exclusive All-Star grades.
Give Page 2's Dan Shanoff credit. Our trendmeister doesn't allow ties in his weekly assortment of What's Hot and What's Not in the world of sports. From the marvelous Williams sisters to elite cyclists to center fielders who spell their first names with consecutive "i"s, just take a look at what's en fuego.

JIM CAPLE
John Henry Williams' plan to turn his famous father into a popsicle has created a disturbing sideshow to the Ted Williams tributes. Now the Splendid Splinter's kids are in court over who gets to do what with the remains, leaving Jim Caple to wonder -- once again -- about how low human beings can go.

You've already taken a look at Page 2's list of the worst innovations in sports. Now read how our readers rank their top 10 choices for the worst sports innovation. And be sure to vote in the poll to crown the worst sports innovation of them all.

10]  Shootouts/penalty kicks to decide winners
"Soccer and hockey are team sports, and shootouts take a handful of players and let them decide who wins."
9]  Personal seat licenses
"Is there another way to milk us fans for more money?"
8]  Luxury boxes
"You miss the camaraderie of the other fans, the true roar of the crowd, the stale beer, and fattening food."
