Every great sports movie has to have a sequel. "Caddyshack" has one. "Major League" has two. And, sadly, "Rocky" has four. The 1986 basketball epic "Hoosiers" was a glaring exception ... until now. All the original characters are back for the second chapter of the Hickory saga ... except for Jimmy Chitwood, who will be replaced by LeBron James. CAPLE: "HOOSIERS 2"

The Warriors are five games below .500 and probably won't make the playoffs. Still, Eric Musselman is one of the front-runners for the NBA Coach of the Year award. How has the rookie coach managed to get moribund Golden State moving in the right direction? Page 2's Charley Rosen explains how the CBA prepared "Mussel Boy" for the travails of the big-time.

The Daily Quickie "Are You Hot?"
"The Bachelorette" will throw off her final would-be suitor tonight. Mike Tyson is off, but his fight is still on (for now). And nobody has been more "on" lately than Kobe Bryant. The Daily Quickie goes off with the latest word on these hot topics, plus a look ahead to the NBA trading deadline and more reality TV insanity.
ABC's new show "Are You Hot?" reaches a new low ... even for reality TV. So you can imagine how irate we are at Page 2 that we didn't think of the concept first. Anyway, it's not too late for our version of the "Hot" game, and we start today by asking you to pick the hottest among 16 male athletes.

THE WORLD OF MIKE TYSON
The shows about Michael Jackson go on and on. The Mike Tyson show is back on this weekend. While the TV networks buzz about what has been removed from Jacko's face and what has been added to Iron Mike's, Page 2 ponders which Mike deserves the title of Biggest Nut Job in Entertainment.

As the greatest basketball player ever hits the Big 4-oh, Page 2 lists the 10 greatest over-40 athletes in sports history. Check out our list and then vote in the poll to pick the superstar for the aged ... oops, ages.

10]  Al Oerter
Oerter returned to competition as he neared 40, preparing to compete in the 1980 Moscow Games -- when he would be 43 years old. We'll never know how he would have done, because the U.S. boycotted those Olympics and Oerter finished fourth in the essentially meaningless Olympic trials.
9]  Carlton Fisk
Almost all catchers wear down long before other position players, but Fisk broke the mold. Playing with the White Sox, he caught an average of almost 100 games a season between the ages of 40 and 43, years when most catchers leave the dugout only as managers.
8]  John Stockton
A model of consistency (82 games a year in 15 of his 18 seasons), the Jazz star went from an A to an A- game six years ago after knee surgery, but he hasn't budged from A- since. As Jason Kidd said, "The best player at the point guard is still playing. He's 40 years old in Stockton. We all have to be patient until he retires."
