espn.com Ali Contest
Ever since CBS raised the possibility of moving the NCAA Tournament to MTV, Page 2's mind has been wandering. Imagine Carson Daly breaking down the field of 65 with Snoop Dogg and Eminem. Picture Christina Aguilera analyzing which top seed has the toughest road to the Big Easy. We've dreamed of all this ... and more.

Page 2's hoop guru, Charley Rosen, entered the 2002-03 season with some pretty specific ideas about who would soar and who would stumble in the NBA's Eastern Conference. Now, with the regular season two-thirds gone, he looks at the East and names the overachievers, the underachievers and those teams -- for good or ill -- who are doing pretty much exactly as he expected.

The Daily Quickie Leave Him Alone!
Everybody seems to be looking for a little love in the Daily Quickie today. Emmitt Smith ain't finding any love in Big D. Kevin Garnett ain't getting enough love in the MVP race. And Ron Artest looks like he could use a little love right about now. We'd love for you to check the DQ.
Michael Jackson -- bleached, botoxed and bewildered -- has got to be on the receiving end of more ridicule than anyone. Well, Page 2's Jason Whitlock is sick of it, and he's decided to try the impossible -- a spirited defense (no, we're not kidding) of the Gloved One's normalcy.

"ARE YOU HOT?"
We're down to the final day of voting in the first round of Page 2's "Are You Hot" competition. It's not too late to vote for the hottest of our 16 female candidates and the most sizzling of our 16 male competitors. After nearly a half-million votes, however, Jennie Finch and A-Rod look tough to beat.

As we muse about how tough it is to play for George Steinbrenner or train Mike Tyson, Page 2 figured the time was perfect to list the 10 most thankless jobs in the sports world. Check out our list and then vote in the poll to pick the one job you'd never want to have.

10]  Head of security for the Masters
He's on the lookout for terrorists and other major threats. And he commands a corps of guards that won't even let badge-holders (read: CEOs, billionaires, mega-celebs) take mental snapshots of what they see. Now factor in that he's probably looking at a major protest this April.
9]  Head of payroll, Ottawa Senators and Buffalo Sabres
See those guys collecting cans on the side of the highway? Yep, that's them.
8]  Joe Torre, Brian Cashman and the Yankees coaching gang
Torre and Cashman have had great fortune, and the bad fortune to inherit the flip side of The Yankee Way -- you're expected to win it all each year. If you do the expected, well -- who couldn't win with those players and that payroll? If you fall short, which is inevitable at least once in a while, watch out.
