You never want to tug on Superman's cape ... or tick off the Shaq Daddy. As Page 2 asks "What the Heck Are They Thinking," we can only imagine how much the Diesel was fuming after the "Ballgate" incident in Sacramento. We also go inside the heads of Madonna, Tiger, Lisa Marie and Monica Lewinsky.

It has been a long time since anybody outside of Wisconsin thought much about Marquette -- 1977, in fact, when the late, lamented legend Al McGuire led the Blue and Gold to its only NCAA title. But students, grads and local fans have not forgotten, as Page 2's Jim Caple discovered when he spent a day on campus during his Final Four tour, mostly standing in line to purchase Screaming Eagles gear.

The Daily Quickie Dogg Daze
Wow! It didn't take long for the 2003 baseball season to turn rotten in the Big Apple. First, "Tom Horrific" makes his debut at Shea. Then, Jeets goes down with a dislocated shoulder. The Daily Quickie responds to the crisis in Gotham by dissecting the play in which Jeter was hurt and offering a shoulder to cry on for Mr. Glavine.
For years now, Major League Baseball has had a major problem -- in ever-increasing numbers, kids are losing interest in our National Pastime. Page 2 has come up with an interesting solution to the problem: Why not ask somebody cool, like Snoop Dogg, to rewrite that classic tune, "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"? Fo' shizzle.

THE WACKY BRACKET
Kentucky might be out of the NCAAs, but the most dominating force in Page 2's Wacky Bracket is still going strong. Jennie Finch is rolling toward the Final Four -- as are Britney Spears, Mike Tyson and Christina Aguilera. Voting on the Elite Eight runs 'til Wednesday.

It's one of our favorite days of the year: Opening day of the baseball season. As we begin the 2003 campaign, Page 2 looks back on the 10 most memorable moments in Opening Day history. Check out our list and vote for the top lid-lifter of all-time.

10]  Karl Rhodes hits three home runs (1994)
Unknown Cubs outfielder Karl "Tuffy" Rhodes shocked the denizens of Wrigley Field by hitting three straight home runs off Mets pitcher Dwight Gooden.
9]  Reagan throws a wild pitch (1986)
Legend has it that Ronald Reagan was an excellent athlete. But you wouldn't have known it if you'd witnessed his ceremonial first pitch to Orioles catcher Rick Dempsey at Baltimore. Throwing from about 30 feet away, Reagan went into a full windup and uncorked a toss that flew way to the left of Dempsey and 10 feet over the catcher's head.
8]  Frank Robinson homers in first game as manager (1975)
In his debut as the first African-American manager in major-league history, Robinson hit the record eighth Opening Day homer of his career.
