	OK, we'll tolerate soaring ticket prices, bad behavior by athletes and overpriced concessions. But that doesn't mean sports fans are a stupid bunch. The Sports Guy says he's getting sick and tired of hearing how the war in Iraq has reminded fans of what's really important. C'mon, do you think we're so stupid that we really need that lesson again?

Doggone It!		The Wacky Bracket

	We make up a lot of stories on Page 2, but this one is too weird to be invented: The winner of the world's biggest dog show is being accused of having had a facelift. Although we've seen "Best in Show" a dozen times, we never dreamed such chicanery was possible.		Christina Aguilera has had a remarkable run through Page 2's Wacky Bracket, but it might be time for midnight to finally strike for our tourney Cinderella. The No. 16 seed is up against Miss Page 2, Jennie Finch, in our championship final this weekend.

BEING A BLAZER

Ever find yourself asking: Where on earth does Portland find its players? Well, Page 2 investigated and we not only found the guidelines to being a Trail Blazer but the Sportoon helps out by wrapping up all the current events in Portland. The Daily Quickie just wants to see these Blazer practice scuffles on pay-per-view.

Monday was one of our favorite days of the year: Opening day of the baseball season. As we begin the 2003 campaign, Page 2 looks back on the 10 most memorable moments in Opening Day history. Check out our list and vote for the top lid-lifter of all-time.
10]	Karl Rhodes hits three home runs (1994) Unknown Cubs outfielder Karl "Tuffy" Rhodes shocked the denizens of Wrigley Field by hitting three straight home runs off Mets pitcher Dwight Gooden.

9]	Reagan throws a wild pitch (1986) Legend has it that Ronald Reagan was an excellent athlete. But you wouldn't have known it if you'd witnessed his ceremonial first pitch to Orioles catcher Rick Dempsey at Baltimore. Throwing from about 30 feet away, Reagan went into a full windup and uncorked a toss that flew way to the left of Dempsey and 10 feet over the catcher's head.

8]	Frank Robinson homers in first game as manager (1975) In his debut as the first African-American manager in major-league history, Robinson hit the record eighth Opening Day homer of his career.
