They aren't exactly the Fab Five, at least not to Page 2's Bill Simmons. The Sports Guy names Roger Clemens, Bill Laimbeer, Isiah Thomas, Kareen Abdul Jabbar and Pete Rose to his personal "Public Enemies" list. Why? For their indefensible phoniness. And because they all drive him absolutely crazy. (OK, crazier.)

From Joe Namath's guarantee to Kevin Dyson's Gumby-like stretch toward the end zone, and from Refrigerator Perry's touchdown run to Lynn Swann's acrobatics . . . Page 2's 100 Most Memorable Super Bowl Moments runs the gamut through the first 37 Roman-Numeraled games. They're all here.

Illegal Motion Page 3
It's always been the life of a pirate for Raiders' owner Al Davis. But as Illegal Motion points out, Al seems to have stepped up his swashbuckling ways of late. Now he's digging even deeper into his box of Raider Stuff.
You thought you could get your sports news somewhere else? Oh, you poor, naive fools. We debut "Sports Uncentered" -- Page 3's animated Liquid Generation highlight show -- today. Watch it. Hear it. Live it.

THE DAILY QUICKIE
The Daily Quickie says the persistent background buzz you hear amid Houston's Super Bowl clatter is coming from Yao Ming (37 noisy points on Sunday). Plus, Captain A-Rod, and Houston's hipster life cycle.

Now that talk of Peyton Manning's fairy-tale playoffs has ended, it's time for an appreciation of the greatest postseason quarterbacks in the Super Bowl era. And maybe, just maybe, the man who beat Manning in the AFC Championship Game ought to be considered. But is Tom Brady's 5-0 postseason record good enough to make our list?

10]  Roger Staubach, Dallas (18 games)
His statistics won't put him in the playoff record books, but the man was a winner -- first, last and in-between. Captain Comeback was spectacular in compiling a 12-6 postseason record.
9]  Joe Theismann, Washington (8 games)
Theismann's postseason QB rating of 91.4 is among the highest in NFL history, even if his other numbers weren't prolific. By expertly managing his postseason opportunities, he compiled a 6-2 record.
8]  Brett Favre, Green Bay (19 games)
Favre holds the record for consecutive playoff games with a TD pass (15 and counting), and moved into third place on the all-time playoff passing yardage list. Doesn't hurt that he won Super Bowl XXXI, either.

Taking a cue from Bill Simmons' column today, the Writers' Bloc vents. And vents. And vents. And no one is safe -- not Romo, not Parcells, not Shaq, not even Geno Auriemma. These people might not be Public Enemies, but they'll all be Writers' Bloc Enemies from this moment on.
