Before "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones" attacks theaters, Page 2 thought we'd put together a sports version of the summer blockbuster.
But ours will have one major advantage -- no Jar Jar Binks.
Take a look below at five of the key characters in the film, then send us your ideas on which sports personalities would be best suited to play those roles. We'll compile the best nominees for each character and poll you Friday to decide which sports person is best-suited to portray these roles.

Anakin Skywalker
Young Anakin Skywalker (played by Hayden Christensen) might be the chosen one as he grows up to become a Jedi knight and eventually Darth Vader. | | | Eric Crouch | So we need someone strong and heroic who eventually makes a fateful decision with potentially evil results as the democratic Republic transforms into the evil Empire. A young Ronald Reagan comes to mind, but we're looking for something more contemporary.

Senator Padmé Amidala
Natalie Portman portrays the former queen of the peaceful planet Naboo. But in movies, as in sports, passivity rarely wins. | | | Martina Hingis | Sometimes you have to join the fight, and this role demands someone strong of mind, spirit and body. Amidala, now a senator, becomes romantically involved with Skywalker, so the winning characters must have good chemistry. Current sports couples, such as Jamie Salé and Pelletier or Martina Hingis and Sergio Garcia, might have an edge over the competition.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
Ewan McGregor plays the Jedi knight -- and mentor to Skywalker -- | | | Chris Pronger | who is a intelligent, noble, disciplined and principled warrior. This actor better know how to handle a light saber.Page 2's suggestion: Chris Pronger, Peter Forsberg Click here to offer your suggestion

Mace Windu
Samuel L. Jackson's Jedi master emerges from the Jedi Council to whup | | | Emmitt Smith | some intergalactical ass -- just what we're more accustomed to seeing him do. Biblical quotations aren't necessary, however.

Yoda
This might appear to be an unflattering role, but this omniscient Muppet-like creature and master of motivational | | | Pete Carril | proverbs is influential, powerful and wise. This legendary Jedi master lacks looks and size, but more importantly, he understands The Force.
