McMurray's car moves into museum

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Jamie McMurray's race-winning car has been inducted into the Daytona 500 Experience, where it will be displayed for the entire season.

McMurray and his Earnhardt Ganassi Racing team were honored Monday morning with a Daytona 500 champion's breakfast. The No. 1 Chevrolet he drove to victory in Sunday's race was placed in the museum after every team member signed the car.

The victory was the biggest of his career, and came in his first race reunited with former team owner Chip Ganassi.

For Ganassi, it moved him into an elite company with Roger Penske as owners who have won the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 500 and the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona sports car race.
