MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- FitzBradshaw Racing announced today that Sterling Marlin will assume driving responsibilities for the Supercuts/HOT TAMALES Dodge Charger with Scott Eggleston serving as crew chief.
The changes will be effective this weekend at Gateway International Raceway.
"After four years running the No. 12 car, we need to find the right combination to run competitively," commented team co-owner Armando Fitz. "The Supercuts/HOT TAMALES Dodge has not had a top-10 finish all year. We can't sit idle. We've got to do something."
Marlin will replace driver Tim Fedewa, who has been behind the wheel of the No. 12 Dodge for just over two years.
"I've been in the NASCAR Busch Series for a long time," said Fedewa. "I've learned over the years that change is part of this business. I am proud to be associated with this series and to have had the opportunity to represent sponsors like Supercuts, HOT TAMALES and Goulds Pumps."
"This team has made a lot of progress over the past few weeks," said Eggleston, the director of competition for FitzBradshaw Racing. "Hopefully the changes that are being made will advance the team's efforts. We will continue to work hard and improve."
