Hello!

Well Indy is behind us and now we're back on our Champ Car program and getting ready for the Milwaukee Mile this weekend. It's going to be good to get back to Milwaukee. For me, Milwaukee after Indy is such a tradition. In fact, I think I've been doing this doubleheader my whole life.

I love going to Milwaukee, it's one of my favorite ovals. Milwaukee is a true one-mile oval since Turns 1 and 2 are the same as Turns 3 and 4. I think the racing here is really good, the track is one you can pass on, so it definitely makes the racing more exciting. This is also a track where I've had some really good luck. Next to Toronto, it's where I've won most of my races; in fact, I've won five races here over my career. So I always look forward to Milwaukee.

This weekend we'll be racing the Lola chassis that we raced for the first time at Twin Ring Motegi in April. At Motegi we had a problem with the rear wing-mounting bracket, but I think we have that sorted out and hopefully we've figured out some of the reliability issues that you face with a new chassis. I think we'll be in pretty good shape.

Even though we're new with the Lola chassis I don't think that puts us at a disadvantage because they have changed the wing package from last year so we would have been on a learning curve with the Reynard as well. I don't think it's going to be a big deal. Our car should be pretty good in Milwaukee; I really think the Lola chassis will be strong. We're just going to start with the basics and see what it gives us and just move forward from that point and hopefully we'll be fast.

I'm always asked if it's a really big change going from one kind of a race car to another and for me it's really not. Even though we ran the Dallara chassis all month at Indy and I haven't driven my Honda Champ Car since late April, I know that after two or three laps I'll be right back in the groove. I'm not worried about the car; I'm just looking for a good weekend for me and for my Team Motorola crew since we've been flat out.

Our schedule has been really tough with not only Indy but also getting the Lolas ready to go and then adding three races (four counting Indy) back to back. The guys have been working their tails off, so I am just hoping we have good results this weekend so we can get some momentum going into the month of June.

I've got some business to get finished before I leave for Milwaukee on Thursday, so I will check in before we leave for Portland, Ore., and hopefully, I'll be reporting back with some good news.
