Good afternoon, everyone.

I hope many of you had the opportunity to see the Marconi Grand Prix of Cleveland last Sunday. We our second straight top-5 finish and we are slowly climbing back into the championship hunt. We had a strong car during the race and ended up fourth. It's a huge confidence booster for this team.

When we unloaded Friday, the car was pretty good. We had to make a few adjustments to get the car balanced. In the first practice, we were fourth-fastest on the time sheet. I've always said that if you can unload and have a good car, you're in a much better position to be fast in the race. All you have to do is fine-tune the car to match the track conditions instead of trying a whole new set-up on the car.

In qualifying Saturday, I had a lap going that would have put me in second. I spun the car going into the last set of corners and that was that. I ended up a disappointing ninth in qualifying.

Going into the race, I was a little concerned about starting in the middle of the pack. The first turn at Cleveland is one of the most exciting, and crash-filled, corners of any track that we race on. It's a very wide corner at the end of the long straightaway. Guys are going five and six-wide in that corner, trying to make up a few spots. The first turn at Cleveland did claim a few cars. Luckily, we made it through.

We had a fast car in the race and my guys gave me some awesome pit stops. We made up several positions both in the pits and on the track. Before I knew it, we were fourth. After the first lap in the race, there weren't any yellow flags in the race. This hurt us in terms of having any chance to catch the leader. Once the field was strung out, it was difficult to make up any ground.

With our finish, we moved up to sixth in the championship, just 10 points out of second. We have a lot of momentum going right now and we need to keep it up for the rest of the year. With every race that goes by, I get more and more comfortable with my crew and engineers. We are building that chemistry that you need in a team to be successful.

We have a long hill to climb, but we're going to give it the best effort that we have.

I spent some time at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday. I walked around and saw all of the old guitars, drums and other memorabilia. That was pretty cool to see. I love music and to see guitars played by Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones and Jimmy Page. I felt like a kid in a candy store.

I'm off to Sweden this week for a little R&R. It's going to be good to see my family and friends. I really enjoy going back to my homeland, especially when the weather is not so cold. I'm looking forward to getting out to Vancouver and see if we can keep trimming the points lead. I'll talk to you soon!
