2002 recap
Roberto Moreno spent the entire season looking for a ride that never materialized. He did, however, help CART and Cosworth in December with testing of the 2003 spec engine.

2003 outlook
Moreno signed with Herdez Comptition to team with Mario Dominguez for the full CART schedule. Dominguez needs some guidance and Moreno is a perfect teacher besides being one of the sharpest chassis men in his business. The 43-year-old Brazilian is the oldest driver on CART's roster, but still knows his way around road courses and street circuits.
