Friday, September 28 Ferrari to give brake lights a test Reuters INDIANAPOLIS -- Ferrari will try out brake lights in Formula One for the first time in Saturday's U.S. Grand Prix free practice, Michael Schumacher said on Friday. "We're going to use them tomorrow," the world champion told a news conference. The International Automobile Federation (FIA) originally planned to experiment with the lights in Thursday's practice but some teams said last week that the idea had been dropped. However, Formula One sources said on Friday that the teams had been given the option of using the lights if they wanted to. Frank Williams said his team were "waiting on it".
