2001 Recap
The Good: There wasn't much good to report from the Arrows camp in 2001. But, the young Brazilian did manage to outqualify his more experienced teammate, Jos Verstappen, 10 times in 17 starts.

Season Highlight: Bernoldi worked his way from the 19th starting spot to finish eighth in Germany, besting his teammate, who finished ninth.

The Bad: Despite his quickness in qualifying, Bernoldi usually lost the battle with his teammate on race day. But the team managed to collect just one point during the season, leaving it 10th among the 11 teams in the constructor's championship chase.

Season Lowlight: Take your pick. Arrows' A22 car provided a number of reliability problems through the season.

Young Enrique Bernoldi managed to regularly outqualify his more experienced teammate in 2001.

Key Stat: Bernoldi only finished seven of 17 races in 2001.

2002 Outlook
What needs to be done: Arrows needs to improve its car's reliability, not to mention its performance. A switch to Jaguar's well-respected Cosworth engines should help. Bernoldi will need to be able to finish more than half the schedule's events if he hopes to score any points in 2002.

Prediction: Bernoldi will return to Arrows in 2002, but the performance will not see great improvement. Bernoldi will continue to outqualify Verstappen, and may, with some more experience, be able to finish ahead of him in races, too. Picking up a point or two is not out of the question.
