2001 Recap
The Good: Frentzen started the season well, scoring points in three of the first four events of the year. He soon struggled, however, and was then released by Jordan. Frentzen was then picked up by Prost, where he did manage to show some slight signs of life.

Season Highlight: Frentzen offered Prost it's most thrilling moment of the year with his best qualifying effort of the season -- a fourth-place start at Belgium.

The Bad: Frentzen seemed to struggle in adapting to new technology and suffered several scary stalls during the season. After starting the season strong, Frentzen failed to score a point after San Marino. He also failed to finish seven of the 15 events he ran in 2001.

Season Lowlight: Frentzen found out he was fired from Jordan in a most impersonal manner -- via fax.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen
German Heinz-Harald Frentzen, a three-time winner in F1, had a bumpy year in 2001.

Key Stat: After finishing sixth at San Marino, Frentzen rattled off 11 consecutive non-scoring efforts. Of those 11 races, the German failed to finish six of them.

2002 Outlook
What needs to be done: Frentzen needs to find a ride. If he ends up at lowly Arrows, as rumored, he won't have much success to look forward to.

Prediction: Frentzen will sign with Arrows and struggle again in 2002. Scoring points will be the goal, but he'll find it tough with that team.

Your Take
Did Frentzen get wronged at Jordan? Does he deserve another good job in 2002? Or, has the German's time passed? You've seen what we have to say, now check out your comments.
