Users: Sharp and Ray a dynamic duo
ESPN.com

We asked how Scott Sharp will fare in his first season with Greg Ray as a teammate and if other drivers had a right to complain about his driving style. Here are some of the better responses:

Watch for Scott to win several races this year en route to the championship. Same crew, same engine, same engineer, points to a strong year.

Bill LaFontaine
Rochester Hills, Mich.

I think Scott will have a good year but this is motorsports not NASCAR wrestling on wheels. Bad driving is not tolerated by any legitimate form of racing. So if Scott can race cleanly and skillfully he will have a good year. If he drives like an idiot they will surely take him in NASCAR.

Tony Matracia
Indianapolis

Sharp and Ray, what a great dynamic duo! Their driving styles are similar and that is a big plus for utilizing testing data and setups. Team owner, Tom Kelley has a first class operation. I truly believe the 2002 IRL champion will come from the Kelley Racing Team.

John Goebel
Fort Wayne, Ind.

Here's hoping Scott kicks all the CART driver's butts this year and wins the Indy 500, so we can quit hearing CART brag about their top five finish last year. I guess they have to brag about something, since the IRL has outdistanced themselves as the No. 1 open-wheel racing series in the country. Tony George rules!!

P.S. Find a good recipe for Robin Miller. He might as well enjoy his crow while he eats it.

Dennis McCloud
Indianapolis

I think that if the two don't let their egos get the best of them and they try to get along and share ideas, they both should have a good season.

Chuck Whelan
Valparaiso, Ind.

IRL driver's have nothing to complain about when it comes to driving style. These CART wanna-bees don't have any style except for crashing!

Mike Quan
Gardena, Calif.

I thought Sharp's aggressive style was excellent when teamed with Mark Dismore, the calm veteran. I think there will be problems between Sharp & Ray, with Ray being the problem (he refused to have a teamate at Menard's). Sharp will continue to be fast and consistent, I think Tom Kelley will regret letting go of DIZ, in favor of Ray.

T.J. McMurray
Nineveh, Ind.
