2003 recap
The good: Led 15 laps at Japan and had fastest car but a late caution robbed him of a chance to win and he had to settle for second.

The bad: His horrifying accident in the season finale at Texas left him with a broken back, sternum, right leg and two fractured ankles but, miraculously, no neurological damage or paralysis.

Key stat: The 1998 IRL champion only led 23 laps all season.

2004 outlook
What needs to be done: Brack needs time to heal. Complications after surgery, including blood clots and fluid on the lungs, really set back the likeable Swede's recovery and he's lost at least 25 pounds during his two-month ordeal.

Key change: None for the moment as engineer Don Halliday returns along with the crew that Brack had when he dominated CART's ovals in 2001.

Prediction: The 38-year-old veteran probably can't be back any sooner than Indianapolis and he's already said he doesn't want to push it. Don't be surprised if Bobby Rahal tries to talk him into retiring.

Your take
Will Kenny Brack make a successful comeback to IndyCar racing this season? Or should he consider hanging up the helmet? Here are your thoughts on Brack and his prospects for the 2004 season and beyond.
