Monday, December 16 Updated: December 31, 1:38 PM ET Larry Dixon By Bill Stephens ESPN.com Team: Miller Lite/Snake Racing
2002 recap
The bad: Failed to qualify at the Sears Craftsman Nationals in Madison, Ill., and saw Kenny Bernstein win the race for the first time in his career.
Key stat: Lost in the first round only three times all season, lowest number in the class.
2003 outlook Prediction:With Bernstein's retirement, Dixon is unquestionably the strongest driver with the best tuner, Dick Lahaie, in the class. A favorite to repeat.
