You will first set up a "primary" account that is only accessible to a parent, guardian or other household head. Under this primary account, you can add up to five (5) additional family members, each with its own Member name and password. Family accounts are FREE and put you in control over what your child has access to throughout ESPN.com and its family of sites. ESPN.com is required to validate your family account information before your child may be granted access to use the full range of services for kids. The automated method to validate your family account information is for you to provide a credit card number to us. This is a free service, and your credit card will not be charged. If you do not wish to use a credit card, you have three additional options to validate this information: (1) telephone, (2) fax, or (3) U.S. Mail. We will need to validate the information listed below. All information will be kept confidential and never shared with third parties without your consent. Information we will need to validate your child's account: 1) Confirm whether or not you are validating your child's account. 2) Parent's Legal Name. 3) Parent's Member Name. 4) Parent's email address. 5) Parent's Password or Hint. 6) Child's Member Name. 7) Whether or not this is a new or existing account. 8) Parent's Signature (Fax and US Mail Only). Option 1: Telephone US Residents may provide us this information by calling us at: 877.466.6669 (US Residents) Non-US Residents can call us at: 011.1.503.626.5476 (Non-US Residents) Option 2: Fax You may also fax this information to ESPN.com Member Services: 503.574.1305 In the subject line of your fax please put "Attention: Child Membership Validation" and include the Parent Signature with your fax request. Please allow up to 7 days from the date the information is received for validation. Our validation procedures are in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The law does not allow validation of your child's account using your e-mail. PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS TO CLEAR YOUR CACHE: If you are using Netscape as your browser: 1. Select Edit then Preferences (Netscape 3.0 users, select Options then Network Preferences) 2. Netscape 4.x users only: click on the Advanced tab, then click on Cache 3. Click on Clear Memory Cache, and hit OK. Click on Clear Disk Cache, and click on Continue 4. Click on OK, and you're done! If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser: 1. Select Tools then Internet Options. Click on the General tab to get to Temporary Internet Files. 2. Under Temporary Internet Files, click on Settings. Click on Delete File. 3. Click on OK to exit the settings menu, click on OK again and you're done! PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO DELETE YOUR COMPUTER'S COOKIES: If you are using Windows 95/98(se)/NT, and you use Internet Explorer: 1. Click your Start button, then click Find, then click Files or folders. 2. In the box after Named, type Cookies. 3. When the Cookies folder appears (Notepad icons only), click it once. This should highlight the Cookies folder. 4. Next, click File, then Delete. 5. Click Yes when asked if you are sure. 6. When you've deleted the folder, close the Find window. If you are using Netscape: 1. Click your Start button, then click Find, then click Files or folders. 2. In the box after Named, type Cookies. 3. When the list of files appears in the bottom, look for the file named 'cookies.txt'. Click that file once. This should highlight the cookies.txt file. 4. Next, click File, then Delete. 5. Click Yes when asked if you are sure you wish to delete the file. 6. When the file is gone, close the Find window. ![]() INSIDER WHAT ARE THE RENEWAL AND CANCELLATION TERMS? ESPN.com will automatically renew and charge a Customer's account as follows: * Once per month for a Monthly Subscription * Once every six (6) months for a Six-Month Subscription * Once per year for an Annual Subscription The renewal charge will be equal to the original customer sign-up price, unless Customer is otherwise notified in advance by ESPN.com. ESPN.com will cancel a Customer's Insider subscription upon receipt of notice from the Customer. With respect to the cancellation of a Monthly Subscription, the Customer will not receive any refund, but he/she will continue to have access to Insider for the remainder of the current month of subscription. With respect to the cancellation of a Six-Month Subscription and an Annual Subscription, the Customer will receive a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the current subscription. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Customer will continue to be obligated to pay for any other charges the Customer incurred in connection with his/her Insider subscription prior to cancellation.
