DENVER (AP) -- Steve Morrow scored with 10 seconds left in
regulation to give the Dallas Burn a 2-2 tie with the Colorado
Rapids on Saturday night.
Morrow intercepted Jeff Stewart's clearing attempt, and sent a
low shot past goalkeeper David Kramer.
Ronald Cerritos also scored to help Dallas (8-4-7) maintain a
one-point lead over Colorado (9-9-3) for second place in the
Western Conference.
The Rapids, who lost both previous meetings between the teams,
took a 2-1 lead in the 76th minute on Mark Chung's penalty kick.
Cerritos opened the scoring in the 53rd minute off Carlos
Valderrama's turnover, and Colorado's Chris Carrieri tied it in the
62nd minute with his eighth goal of the year.
