Wizards snap three-game losing skid

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Chris Brown beat goalkeeper Zach Thornton with a 20-yard shot in the 90th minute to give the Kansas City Wizards a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire on Saturday night.

Kansas City's Dario Fabbro scored his sixth goal of the season in the 22nd minute, and Chicago's Carlos Bocanegra tied it in the 62nd off Ante Razov's corner kick.

Kansas City snapped a three-game losing streak to improve to 9-9-8, and beat the Fire for the first time since a 1-0 victory in the 2000 championship game. Chicago (10-11-4) has lost two straight.
