Barcelona can come back from Paris Saint-Germain defeat - Lucas Digne

Former Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne has added his name to the list of Barcelona players who believe they can turn around their 4-0 defeat to the French champions in the first leg of their round-of-16 Champions League tie.

No side has ever overturned a four-goal deficit in the competition's knockout stages before, which shows the scale of the challenge facing the Catalan side.

However, Luis Suarez has already urged his teammates to "make history," while Gerard Pique told the club's supporters to fill Camp Nou because they will be fussed if they miss the comeback.

"We can still do it, anything can happen," Digne told L'Equipe after Sunday's 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon, which was secured via a Lionel Messi goal in the 86th minute.

"We're going to give everything for 90 minutes. We conceded four goals in the first leg. Why not score them in the second?

"We don't even need to talk about it in the dressing room. It's clear between us: We want to show a better face, the quality of our play."

Barca tweaked their formation against Atletico, switching to a back three when they were attacking with Luis Enrique later confirming it was to look for more control in midfield.

But despite winning the game, the change didn't lead to domination in the middle of the pitch, something Barca will be looking for against PSG on March 8 at Camp Nou.

"Did we show enough control against Atletico? I don't know," Digne added. "We have things we need to improve, we're aware of that.

"Maybe you don't think [Barca's play] is very good, but perhaps you'll change your mind at the end of the season if we win everything."
