Premier League team news: Updates on injuries and suspensions

Striker Diego Costa is available following his three-game suspension. Captain John Terry (Achilles), Eden Hazard (hip/groin) and Loic Remy (groin) remain out, but Nemanja Matic (bruised leg) and Gary Cahill (hip) are available again. Chelsea interim boss Guus Hiddink is likely to make some changes following the loss at Swansea, when Alexandre Pato and Matt Miazga were among the starters.

Provisional squad: Courtois, Begovic, Ivanovic, Fabregas, Rahman, Oscar, Falcao, Pato, Mikel, Traore, Kenedy, Pedro, Miazga, Willian, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Loftus-Cheek, Clarke-Salter, Amelia.

Manchester City playmaker David Silva will sit out to further rest an ankle problem. The Spaniard also missed last week's victory over West Brom as a precaution against an injury that he has been playing with for some time. Captain Vincent Kompany (calf) is pushing to return for Tuesday's game at Newcastle while forward Raheem Sterling (groin) could also be back in contention after missing the last four games.

Provisional squad: Hart, Caballero, Sagna, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Mangala, Demichelis, Kolarov, Clichy, Toure, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph, De Bruyne, Navas, Nasri, M Garcia, Aguero, Bony, Iheanacho.

Bournemouth could have winger Junior Stanislas back from a hamstring injury. Striker Benik Afobe, though, will miss out because of a hamstring problem, while defender Adam Smith continues his rehabilitation from a hernia and midfielder Harry Arter (Achilles) is also not yet fit. Forward Callum Wilson made a brief substitute appearance at Aston Villa last week following six months out with a knee injury, and manager Eddie Howe is expected to involve him again.

Provisional squad: Boruc, Elphick, Cook, Francis, Daniels, Ritchie, Surman, Gosling, Gradel, J King, Grabban, Federici, MacDonald, Wiggins, O'Kane, Iturbe, Pugh, Wilson, Stanislas.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to make a number of changes after the physically and emotionally draining midweek Europa League win over Borussia Dortmund. Midfielder Joe Allen is likely to get a start, having come on to make an influential contribution on Thursday, as is fellow substitute Lucas Leiva. Striker Daniel Sturridge could return to the starting line-up while midfielder Emre Can, who twisted an ankle against Dortmund, completes a two-match ban.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Skrtel, Moreno, Lucas, Allen, Stewart, Ojo, Firmino, Sturridge, Ward, Lovren, Sakho, Smith, Milner, Coutinho, Lallana, Origi.

Claudio Ranieri has no fresh injury worries ahead of the visit of West Ham on Sunday. The Foxes will go 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League, at least temporarily, with victory over the Hammers and need just three wins from their final five games to take the title. Matty James continues to be sidelined with a long-term knee injury and Ranieri does not expect the midfielder to play again this season having been out since last May.

Provisional squad: Schmeichel, Schwarzer, Fuchs, Morgan, Huth, Chilwell, Wasilewski, Simpson, Schlupp, Amartey, Drinkwater, Kante, Inler, King, Albrighton, Mahrez, Dyer, Gray, Vardy, Okazaki, Ulloa.

West Ham can welcome back defenders Winston Reid and Sam Byram. Reid missed Wednesday night's 2-1 FA Cup defeat by Manchester United with a tight hamstring while Byram, fit again after a recent spell out injured, was cup-tied. Striker Diafra Sakho is still sidelined with the knee knock which forced him to withdraw from the squad to face Arsenal last weekend, but he is expected back in training on Monday.

Provisional squad: Adrian, Randolph, Cresswell, Collins, Reid, Ogbonna, Tomkins, Byram, Hendrie, O'Brien, Oxford, Kouyate, Noble, Obiang, Song, Lanzini, Payet, Moses, Antonio, Valencia, Emenike, Carroll.

Arsene Wenger is expected to recall Petr Cech. The manager said he is yet to take a decision on which goalkeeper he will select, but could also consider recalling Per Mertesacker given Palace's aerial threat and that he acknowledged that weakness to his team at West Ham. Aaron Ramsey came on as a substitute and is also in contention to start, but Jack Wilshere (leg) and Tomas Rosicky (thigh) are not yet ready despite featuring for the under-21s. Santi Cazorla (Achilles) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee) remain unfit.

Provisional squad: Ospina, Cech, Macey, Monreal, Gibbs, Gabriel, Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Bellerin, Elneny, Ramsey, Flamini, Ozil, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Sanchez, Campbell, Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud

Dwight Gayle will miss out with a leg muscle problem. Wilfried Zaha remains a doubt with a shoulder complaint and will face a late fitness test. Palace boss Alan Pardew still hopes to have striker Gayle fit in time for the FA Cup semi-final against Watford on Sunday, April 24.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, McCarthy, Speroni, Ward, Kelly, Dann, Delaney, Mariappa, Souare, Lee, Jedinak, Ledley, Zaha, Puncheon, Bolasie, Cabaye, Mutch, Campbell, Adebayor, Sako, Wickham.

Stoke are hopeful of having midfielder Glenn Whelan (back) and forward Marko Arnautovic (knee) back, but defender Marc Muniesa is a doubt. Muniesa, who would be the most obvious replacement at left-back for the suspended Erik Pieters, will be assessed ahead of the game having picked up a knock in training. Captain Ryan Shawcross is expected to be fit to keep his place after the defender made his return from a back problem in last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Liverpool, while it remains to be seen if goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard is retained or dropped, with Shay Given ready to step in.

Provisional squad: Haugaard, Given, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Cameron, Bardsley, Muniesa, Imbula, Whelan, Adam, Ireland, Afellay, Shaqiri, Arnautovic, Bojan, Joselu, Crouch, Diouf.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has overcome a dead leg and is fit. Kane took a kick in the win over Manchester United last weekend but has trained all week while fellow forward Clinton Njie has also recovered from a knee problem and is available. Nabil Bentaleb is Mauricio Pochettino's only first-team absentee. The midfielder remains out with a knee injury.

Provisional squad: Lloris, Vorm, Walker, Trippier, Davies, Rose, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Vertonghen, Winks, Dembele, Mason, Dier, Carroll, Eriksen, Onomah, Lamela, Son, Chadli, Njie, Kane.
