Blackpool quartet Peter Clarke, David Perkins, Nathan Delfouneso and Steven Davies are among a total of 17 players released by the club.
The Seasiders have cleared the decks as they prepare for life in League One next season following a calamitous campaign both on and off the pitch.
Centre-half Clarke, midfielder Perkins, forward Delfouneso and striker Davies head a long list of players heading out of Bloomfield Road.
Andre Blackman, Tomasz Cywka, Joel Dielna, Bobby Grant, Gary MacKenzie, Tony McMahon, Jacob Mellis, Nyron Nosworthy, Darren O'Dea, Elliot Parish, Jeffrey Rentmeister, Saer Sene and Francois Zoko will all be looking for new clubs this summer.
Midfielder Jamie O'Hara and forward Tom Barkhuizen have both been offered new deals, while the club has taken up options on three players - Jose Miguel Cubero, Andrea Orlandi and Nile Ranger.
On-loan players Miles Addison, Grant Hall, Joe Lewis, Gary Madine and Niall Maher have also left the club.
