Chelsea provided brilliant entertainment at the Mestalla but their breathless 2-2 draw against Valencia on Wednesday night, along with Liverpool's surprise 1-1 draw with Napoli, cost us a tidy profit. The Premier League returns this weekend and we can't see past wins for Leicester City and Tottenham.
Running total: +£24.62
Leicester City and Spurs look the banker bets on the coupon this weekend against Everton and Bournemouth respectively. The Foxes, who have won nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions, are a 13/20 chance to beat a beleaguered Everton. Marco Silva is a man under pressure and just 7/2 to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job, the Toffees sitting just four points above the drop zone.
In contrast, Leicester have been in stunning form and look to be going from strength to strength under Brendan Rodgers. They are 15 points better off than Everton after just 13 games and can make that 18 with a win at the King Power.
Spurs have won two out of two under new boss Jose Mourinho and are scoring goals for fun. If they can plug the gaps at the other end (they've only kept one clean sheet all season) they should be too strong for the Cherries.
The Leicester - Tottenham double is paying 5/4 with bet365 and should be snapped up.
Selection: £6 on the double at 1.25/1 with bet365.
The Tasty Treble
West Ham's recent form has been horrendous and Chelsea should be trusted at 8/11 to win by more than a goal when these two meet at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are brilliant to watch under Frank Lampard, while the under-pressure Hammers have not won at the Bridge since 2002.
Wolves are unbeaten in their last eight league games -- a run that includes a win over champions Manchester City -- so we like them at 10/11 to beat Sheffield United. The Blades of course have yet to lose an away game but Wolves are chasing a third straight Premier League win and can get it at Molineux.
Finally, back both teams to score at 4/5 when Manchester United host Aston Villa. Defensively, the Red Devils looked all over the place against Sheffield United last time out and with the brilliant Jack Grealish pulling the strings in midfield Villa can find the net in an entertaining game at Old Trafford. The treble pays just shy of 5/1 with bet365 and looks to have a real shout.
Selection: £4 on the treble at 4.93/1 with bet365.
The Wildcard Tip
Arsenal have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last five away games in the league and with the pressure firmly on Unai Emery -- who is odds-on to be the next Premier League boss to lose his job -- Norwich look a big price at 3/1 this weekend. Daniel Farke's men are in a relegation dogfight but will be confident here against a Gunners outfit who have taken just five points from six matches on their travels so far.
Selection: £2 on Norwich City to win at 3/1 with bet365.
The Euro Wager
Barcelona travel to Atletico Madrid on Sunday and the hosts look a spot of value at 7/4. Barca may be La Liga's top scorers but they've failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last five matches. It will be interesting to see the reception former idol Antoine Griezmann gets against his former club, but Atleti remain a very dogged, physical and defensively organised outfit and look worth a punt to grind out a result here.
Selection: £2 on Atletico Madrid to win at 7/4 with bet365.
