Clubs are still able to sign players as free agents, and as long as they were not officially attached to any club when the window closed in October.
As Jan. 31 falls on a Sunday this year, the standard deadline day across all leagues is Monday, Feb. 1.
Premier League transfer window
The transfer window will reopen on Saturday, Jan. 2 and run through to Monday, Feb. 1.
Manchester City have already agreed to sign 18-year-old winger Filip Stevanovic from Red Star Belgrade, while Atalanta forward Amad Diallo will officially move to Manchester United for £37.2m.

La Liga transfer window
The window reopens slightly later in Spain, on Monday, Jan. 4. It will close again on Feb. 1.

Serie A transfer window
In Italy, clubs will be able to register transfers again on Monday, Jan. 4 though to Feb. 1.

The German transfer market will kick back into action on Saturday, Jan. 2 through to Feb. 1.

Ligue 1 transfer window
In France, the winter transfer window will open on Jan. 2 through to Feb. 1.

MLS transfer window
Officially, the transfer window reopens in MLS on Feb. 10 ahead of the new season, which is scheduled to begin a few weeks later. It will close on May 4.
However, there will be a half-day window for trades on Sunday, Dec. 13 straight after the 2020 MLS Cup final. The MLS Expansion Draft will be held on Dec. 15, when Austin FC may select up to five players from the eligible player list. The free agency opens on Dec. 16.
