With the FIFA festivities out in Zurich now over for another year, Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged with his third Ballon d'Or after winning the 2014 award by an absolute landslide.
Ronaldo took a hefty 37.66 percent of the vote, with fellow candidates Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer attracting just 15.76 percent and 15.72 percent respectively.
After saying his thank-yous at the pedestal, the Real Madrid man signed off by emitting a loud and ever-so-slightly unsettling noise:
As it happens, the man tasked with announcing the award, Monsieur Thierry Henry, wasn't particularly impressed by Ronaldo's carry-on, greeting the Portuguese superstar's victory honk with a cool wave of indifference.
