Chad Johnson, formerly known by man as "Chad Ochocinco," played 11 seasons in the NFL as a wide receiver but has never hidden his love of soccer. But does he have a new job lined up?
Back in 2011, Johnson had a tryout with Sporting Kansas City. Alas, the speedy receiver did not make the cut on Peter Vermes' team but nonetheless remained an avid fan, as evidenced by his desire to rent out the field at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu.
You can rent the field for an hour at Santiago Bernabeu for 70k & play, it's a dream of mine to fly 22 friends to Madrid & pull this off.

However, it looks like Johnson may now be getting a second chance at life in professional futbol. According to the man himself, he is the newest signing for Liga MX's Club Leon.

Johnson appeared on ESPN Mexico's NFL Live this week -- he joked about joining Pumas despite their heartbreaking Liga MX Apertura final defeat -- but the news of his supposed soccer signing was instantly a big hit with U.S. international and Club Leon midfielder, Miguel Ibarra.
I see you!! Getting signed to my club team not a bad idea @ochocinco then we can get some FIFA sessions in pic.twitter.com/W2ctfunYHk

The only thing left for Ochocinco to do now is ditch his Chivas jersey.
