Bayern Munich will take to the field against Hoffenheim wearing a unique variant of their famous red home shirt.
In conjunction with the Parley for the Ocean foundation, Bayern will be turning out in a special kit made entirely from plastic garbage collected from the sea.
The "clean" tonal design of the environmentally conscious jersey is said to reflect Parlay's fundamental message, while their "For the Oceans" motto is affixed to the collar.

The plastic was originally collected after washing up on the shores of the Maldives and was recycled to create fibres from which the one-off kit was made.
"I grew up on the beaches of Spain. Therefore, I am particularly pleased to be able to wear a jersey made 100 percent from recycled ocean waste," said Xabi Alonso while presenting the kit.
"This is a great opportunity to draw attention to the importance of protecting the world's oceans."
Well said that man.
