Chelsea's John Terry dropped as Branislav Ivanovic made captain

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has dropped John Terry for the home game against Arsenal, replacing him as captain with the under-fire Branislav Ivanovic.

Terry, 34, played every minute in the Premier League as Chelsea won the title last term.

But he was substituted at half-time in the 3-0 loss at Manchester City, sent off in the win at West Brom and was an unused substitute in the midweek Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

For the Gunners, Theo Walcott comes in for Olivier Giroud and Per Mertesacker misses out, with Gabriel keeping his place.

Kieran Gibbs, who played in midweek, is also dropped for Nacho Monreal, while Aaron Ramsey is on the right wing instead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
