Liverpool loanee Iago Aspas struck a hat trick for Sevilla in just four minutes on Wednesday -- a faster time than Reds legend Robbie Fowler managed when netting the fastest hat trick in Premier League history.
Aspas, who is on a season-long loan at the La Liga club, scored three in the 5-1 Copa del Rey defeat of Sabadell, notching in the 59th minute, before hitting two more in the 60th and 63rd minutes.
Former Everton loan signing Gerard Deulofeu also managed to get on the score sheet with an 86th-minute effort to give Sevilla an 11-2 victory on aggregate against the Spanish second-tier side.
Aspas' hat trick was faster than the famous one Fowler managed for Liverpool against Arsenal in August 1994.
The former England international struck his three goals in four minutes and 33 seconds, and the hat trick remains the fastest in Premier League history.
Aspas, who has managed just one goal for Liverpool, will be hoping to regain his place in Brendan Rodgers' first-team squad for next season.
