PSG's Serge Aurier insults Laurent Blanc on social media - reports

Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier has taken to social media to criticise his manager Laurent Blanc and his teammates, according to reports in France.

Aurier, 23, has been a regular under Blanc this season but during a live Periscope session on Saturday the right-back reportedly insulted the former France national team boss a number of times.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Angel Di Maria were also targets, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, who added that the club had refused to comment on the incident and that Aurier did not attend training on Sunday because he had been suspended.

Canal Plus journalist Pierre Menes earlier tweeted that the defender told him the video -- which is a month old -- was a "fake" and that he would be releasing a statement later, however he later revealed that Aurier acknowledged it was genuine saying: "Aurier has acknowledged this morning that the video is indeed authentic. He's apologised and is now awaiting the punishment."

Ligue 1 leaders PSG face Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday and it remains to be seen whether the Ivory Coast international will be involved in the first-leg clash at the Parc des Princes.

Last year, Aurier apologised for comments he made about referee Bjorn Kuipers after the stormy Champions League clash with Chelsea.

Aurier was banned by UEFA for three games after posting a video on Facebook in which he called the Dutch official a "dirty son of a bitch" in response to the contentious sending off of Ibrahimovic.

Information from the Press Association and ESPN FC's Mark Rodden was used in this report.
