Airdrie kept their play-off hopes alive with an emphatic 3-0 win over Ladbrokes League One champions Dunfermline.
The opener was barely more than a minute in coming as Marc Fitzpatrick headed in Nicky Cadden's right-wing corner.
Dunfermline's David Hopkirk hit the bar with a deft chip but they fell further behind as first Dylan Mackin struck from the edge of the box and then James Lister headed in Cadden's cross.
Amazingly the champions' first half got even worse as they lost both Ryan Williamson and Michael Moffat to injury before the break.
It should have been 4-0 after the break when Mackin teed up Kieran MacDonald but he shot wide when well placed.
It mattered not, though, and fourth-placed Stranraer's defeat to lowly Brechin left Airdrie within range of the post-season.
