2015/16 Scottish League Challenge Cup, Round 3

Peterhead progress to semi-final with comfortable win over Stenhousemuir

Peterhead advanced to the semi-finals of the Petrofac Training Cup following a 3-0 victory over Scottish League One rivals Stenhousemuir.
The hosts, who were only one place above their opponents in the league table, started the game in positive fashion and reaped their rewards in the 17th minute when midfielder James Redman opened the scoring with a close-range header.
Rory McAllister, the competition's top scorer, added to his tally with his seventh goal after 38 minutes to make it 2-0, heading in Steven Noble's cross.
Noble, himself, added a third for the Blue Toon on the stroke of half-time which proved to be the nail in the coffin for the visitors.
