Memphis Depay fired a second-half hat-trick as in-form Lyon won 5-0 at Ligue 1 rivals Troyes.
Depay struck three times after the interval, including a penalty, after Bertrand Traore had given Lyon a slender half-time lead.
Mariano added Lyon's fifth in the final minute, while Troyes defender Christophe Herelle was sent off for handball with 20 minutes left.
Lyon, Europa League winners at Everton on Thursday, took a 21st-minute lead when Traore turned the ball home from close range following Fernando Marcal's excellent cross.
Troyes found themselves 2-0 down four minutes after the restart. Tanguy Ndombele picked out Depay in the penalty area and the former Manchester United winger fired an angled shot into the bottom corner.
Depay slammed home his second to seal the points in the 65th minute and completed his hat-trick by converting a 70th-minute penalty after Herelle had handled in the area.
Mariano added Lyon's fifth in the final minute with a low finish from inside the area.
