Alessandro Matri has joined Lazio on a season-long loan from AC Milan, the Serie A club have confirmed on their website.
The 31-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Juventus, winning his third Scudetto with the Bianconeri after 2012 and 2013 but not doing enough to convince them to offer him a permanent contract.

Now he is embarking on his fourth loan move away from the Rossoneri with Lazio taking him as cover for Miroslav Klose, who picked up an injury in the first leg of the Biancocelesti's Champions League playoff with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Rome-based club become Matri's ninth address in Italy after spells with Prato, Lumezzane, Rimini, Cagliari, Juventus, Fiorentina, Genoa and Milan. He has scored 79 goals in 248 Serie A appearances.
He helped Juve win the Coppa Italia last May, scoring the winning goal in extra-time against Lazio.
