Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said he has decided where his future lies but refused to confirm whether he is joining Manchester United.
However, the striker heaped praise on Jose Mourinho, saying the two have "a great relationship" and that the Portuguese manager is the right man to take United "back to the top."
Mourinho is widely expected to take over at United from Louis van Gaal in the coming days, and reportedly wants to make Ibrahimovic his first signing at the club.
The Sweden striker finished his last season with Paris Saint-Germain by completing a domestic Treble last weekend, and is available on a free transfer this summer.
Asked about the United interest, Ibrahimovic said he has concrete offers from clubs in England, Italy and outside Europe. He later added: "It's not a difficult choice, I know what I want. The future is already written. I have made my choice."
But when asked if the Premier League offer came from United, Ibrahimovic remained coy.
"I don't give guarantees. There are concrete offers from the Premier League, so let's see what happens," he said.
When asked about Mourinho taking over at United, the Swede was more forthcoming. The two worked together at Inter Milan and have often expressed mutual admiration for each other ever since then.
"I think it's a great move," Ibrahimovic said about United hiring the Portuguese manager. "You want action you bring Mourinho. I believe he is the man to bring them back to the top. Wherever he went, he won. He knows what he's doing. So if you want to win you bring Mourinho. I had a fantastic time with him when I was working with him ... If we will work again, I don't know. Let's see how things play out."
However, he said that while he is in regular talks with Mourinho, the two have not spoken recently.
"There is no secret, I have a great relationship with Mourinho. We are in contact but not in the last weeks," he said. "We have been talking for many years."
Ibrahimovic, who will turn 35 in October, also dismissed suggestions that he could be too old for the Premier League.
"I'm only warming up. I had a fantastic season, I proved age is just a number," he said. "Everything is in your head. Whatever you want to do you will do it. It's a master mind game. If I want to make it I'll make it. If I want to do it I'll do it."
