All leagues have now confirmed their summer transfer window dates.
Clubs in all leagues will still be able to sign players as free agents after the deadline, and as long as they are not officially attached to any club on Thursday, Sept. 1.
The general deadline is Sept. 1 rather than Aug. 31 as there are many games in the Premier League, Serie A and Ligue 1 on Aug. 31.
Deals can be agreed between leagues with different transfer windows. They will be officially completed if or when the signing club's window is open.
Premier League transfer window
The transfer market reopened on Friday, June 10, though most international deals and free transfers did not go through until July 1.
The Premier League will close the transfer window on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 11 p.m. BST. There is no early closure before the season kicks off
The winter window will run throughout January (Jan. 1 to Jan. 31) as usual.
LaLiga transfer window
The LaLiga window officially opened on July 1 and will close at 10:59 p.m. BST on Thursday, Sept. 1.
The winter window will run from Jan. 2 to 31.
Serie A transfer window
The market opened on July 1 and close on Thursday, Sept. 1. In the past, like the Premier League, it has closed the day before the season begins, but has fallen back into line with France, Germany and Spain.
The winter window runs from Jan. 2 to 31.
Bundesliga transfer window
The window opened on July 1 and will close at 5:00 p.m. BST on Thursday, Sept. 1.
The winter window runs from Jan. 1 to Jan. 31.
Ligue 1 transfer window
Ligue 1 followed the Premier League, opening its window on June 10 and will close it on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 11:59 p.m. BST, with the winter window running from Jan. 1 to Jan. 31.
Women's Super League transfer window
The WSL summer window opened on June 17 and runs through to Sept. 8.
MLS transfer windows
Major League Soccer's first window closed on Wednesday, May 4. A secondary window opened on Thursday, July 7 through to Thursday, August 4.
