Swansea to edge Southampton in relegation battle; Juventus to beat AC Milan

The column drew a blank at the weekend but hope springs eternal and the action continues thick and fast in midweek, with loads of games including Swansea's crunch relegation clash with Southampton.

Running total: -£73.98

The Home Banker

After seven top flight games without a win, and only two goals during that bleak period, Swansea are unsurprisingly a 9/4 chance to beat Southampton on Tuesday. Their defeat to Bournemouth, and Southampton's draw against Everton, meant that Swansea slipped back into the relegation zone with two games left to play, but 9/4 is a big old price surely to beat a Saints side that have lost 15 times already this term. We don't envisage this being one for the purists but with home advantage Swansea are not without hope here.

Selection: £4 on Swansea to win at 9/4 with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

It's not been a vintage season domestically for Real Madrid but should they really be 6/4 to win at Sevilla? < i>Los Blancos have endured a torrid time of it in La Liga but remain a class act and look a tempting price to win on the road. Elsewhere, West Ham at 15/4 screams value against Manchester United. The Red Devils looked massively off the pace against Brighton and may struggle against a Hammers side who know they can guarantee Premier League survival with a win. Arsenal at evens to win at Leicester also looks a no-brainer. The treble is paying almost 23/1 with bet365.

Selection: £3 on the treble at 22.75/1 with bet365.

The Euro Wager

Juventus at 4/5 have a rock solid claim to win the Coppa Italia when they meet AC Milan on Wednesday. The Old Lady are on the verge of yet another Scudetto with Douglas Costa inspiring them to a come from behind win over Bologna at the weekend. Juve's form since the turn of the year has been red hot and they should have too much quality for a Milan side whose form has been very erratic this season.

Selection: £5 on Juventus to win at 4/5 with bet365.

The Wildcard Tip

Manchester United have got second place secured so look vulnerable against a West Ham side who looked razor sharp in beating Leicester on Saturday. Mark Noble rolled back the years at the King Power and a motivated West Ham look massively overpriced here given how dodgy United looked against Brighton.

Selection: £2 on West Ham to win at 15/4 with bet365.

The Bookie Basher

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looked a million dollars as Arsenal dismantled Burnley on Sunday and the Gabon hitman looks the most logical call to score first when the Gunners take on Leicester City this week. Aubameyang to score first and Arsenal to win 2-1 is a massive 25/1 shout and looks over-priced given how erratic Leicester have looked in recent weeks.

Selection: £1 on Aubameyang to score first and Leicester to win 2-1 at 25/1 with bet365.
