LIVE Transfer Talk: Juventus have Memphis Depay, Arkadiusz Milik, Marko Arnautovic deals in play

The summer transfer window is here, and there's plenty of gossip swirling about who's moving where. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

TOP STORY: Juve look at three options up front

Tuttosport is predicting a busy end to the summer transfer window for Juventus, with potential deals for Memphis Depay, Arkadiusz Milik and Marko Arnautovic all in the works.

The report says that while Barcelona have given Depay the green light to leave Camp Nou, there is still no agreement with the Bianconeri for the Netherlands international. Depay has asked for a wage of €7 million plus bonuses, which is deemed to be too much for the Serie A club.

Juve are wary of offering such a high wage after the big-salary signings of Arthur, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot failed to work out. With this in mind, they could look at alternatives on cheaper terms, such as Marseille's Milik or Bologna's Arnautovic, and a decision will be made after Juventus take on Sampdoria on Monday evening.

In midfield, Juve still want Paris Saint-Germain's Leandro Paredes, and there is the feeling that Les Parisiens could loan out the Argentina international. Juve need to offload a midfielder before bringing another one in. After Rabiot's move to Manchester United fell through, January signing Denis Zakaria could depart, with clubs in France and Germany holding an interest.

The 27-year-old was a priority target for the LaLiga club earlier this summer, but is thought of as a low-cost alternative to the Chelsea wing-back. The Blues' have had bids including transfer fees up to £45m for 21-year-old Gordon rejected, but are now expected to offer more than the Toffees' £50m valuation through various add-ons. After having their two opening offers rejected, the Premier League side will pay a £25m transfer fee with £5m in add-ons to secure the the 20-year-old forward's signature on a six-year deal will include a clause that sends 10% of any future transfer fee to the Hornets.

19.46 BST: Newcastle United have had a bid for midfielder Manu Kone rejected by Borussia Monchengladbach, according to L'Equipe. 19.13 BST: Free agent winger Cristian Tello has agreed terms on a three-year contract with LAFC, reports TUDN's Michele Giannone. The 31-year-old former Barcelona and Real Betis starlet reportedly will sign as a Designated Player for this season, with the deal structured for him to a TAM player beginning in 2023. The transfer will not be announced until Brian Rodriguez's departure is confirmed, with the 22-year-old Uruguay international lined up for a move to Liga MX side Club America.

18.40 BST: Barcelona have given Samuel Umtiti the green light for a move to Lecce, according to Sport. The 28-year-old centre-back is reportedly set to travel to Italy on Tuesday to finalise a loan move to the Serie A side. Umtiti is said to earn €20m per season and the Catalan club, who are working to reduce their wage bill, are set to pay the entire salary of the former France international during his spell away from the Camp Nou.

18.07 BST: Newcastle United have identified Lyon playmaker Lucas Paqueta as a backup option if they fail to sign James Maddison from Leicester City, according to Foot Mercato. 17.34 BST: Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached a verbal agreement with VfB Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic but must now negotiate a transfer fee with the Bundesliga club, according to Sky Sport Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg. Stuttgart are looking to receive a €25m fee to sanction the 25-year-old Austria international's departure, and the Premier League outfit hope to wrap up a deal in the coming days.

17.00 BST: Nottingham Forest are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a deal for left-back Sergio Reguilon, according to the Athletic. The 25-year-old, who is close to returning from injury, was a regular for Spurs last season, but the Spain international has recently fallen out of favour with Antonio Conte following the arrival of Ivan Perisic.

16.25 BST: Mediafoot claims Leicester City are set to move to sign Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe.

Pepe has found himself out of favour at the club and has been linked with a loan move to Ligue 1 side Nice.

However, the Ivory Coast international -- who cost €80m to sign from Lille in 2019 -- could be persuaded to stay in the Premier League. Though it's unclear whether Leicester are interested in a permanent or temporary deal.

15.41 BST: West Ham United have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri, says Fabrizio Romano.

Palmieri, 28, has slipped down the pecking order at Chelsea and will reportedly move on a five-year contract for a £13m fee with £2m in add-ons.

15.33 BST: Bild claims that Man United are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

Trapp, 32, would provide competition for current No. 1 David de Gea, who has had a poor start to the season, and is comfortable with the ball at his feet -- clearly a prerequisite for playing under manager Erik ten Hag.

14.58 BST: Manchester City forward Bernardo Silva has been offered a new contract, reports The Daily Star.

Silva, 28, has been linked with a move to Barcelona is reportedly keen to leave the club this summer, but City boss Pep Guardiola doesn't want to let him go and the Portugal international has a contract until 2025 so the club hold all the cards.

13.52 BST: Sergino Dest's future remains uncertain with just over a week until the transfer window closes after being omitted from Barcelona's squad once again over the weekend.

ESPN revealed on Friday that coach Xavi Hernandez told Dest to find a new club last week. Asked about the United States international's lack of minutes this season on Saturday, Xavi confirmed "he knows what the situation is."

Dest, 21, has so far been reluctant to leave Barca this summer but he could come under more pressure this week due to the club's financial problems.

Barca need to raise money and reduce the wage bill to be able to register Jules Kounde and, if possible, pursue other signings before the window closes.

Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich, two clubs previously linked with Dest, have both signed right-backs already this summer, but Manchester United could offer Dest a route out of Camp Nou, according to Diario Sport.

Dest is one of several players Barca are looking to move on in a bid to make more signings this month. Strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Memphis Depay will both be allowed to leave the club, too.

Frenkie de Jong, meanwhile, has so far refused to leave this summer, but Xavi says "until Sept. 1" anything could happen with the Dutch midfielder, while Martin Braithwaite and Samuel Umtiti have also been told to find new clubs. Umtiti is set to join the Italian side Lecce on loan.

13.10 BST: Chelsea are exploring alternatives to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after failing to agree a fee with Barcelona for the former Arsenal striker, according to Diario Sport.

Barca want a transfer fee of over €25m for Aubameyang but Chelsea are not willing to go so high. The Premier League side were open to including left-back Marcos Alonso in the deal to make up the price, but Barca only want cash.

The Catalan club need to raise enough money and further reduce their wage bill to be able to register defender Jules Kounde, who has been forced to miss the first two games of the season after signing from Sevilla for €55m.

Chelsea, therefore, are looking at other options, with their former striker Alvaro Morata, currently at Atletico Madrid, said to be one of the players they have considered.

Meanwhile, Barca are still waiting for Memphis Depay to finalise a move to Juventus, having agreed to let him out of the last year of his contract for practically nothing. However, Memphis' departure alone is not expected to free up enough space within the club's league-imposed spending limit to register Kounde.

12.35 BST: Barcelona want to sign England and Manchester City midfielder Keira Walsh after losing Alexia Putellas to injury for the season, according to Sport.

Walsh, who won Euro 2022 with the Lionesses this summer, is said to be open to the move.

Sport reports that Manchester City are reluctant to let Walsh leave but that they could be forced to change their stance after being knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid on Sunday.

Walsh, 25, has a contract with City until 2023, so would be entitled to leave for free next summer if she does not sign a new deal.

She could become the second England international to join Barca this summer. Right-back Lucy Bronze joined as a free agent in July after her City contract expired.

12.11 BST: Newcastle United have had a second bid to sign Leeds United winger Jack Harrison turned down, says The Athletic.

Harrison, 25, scored and assisted a goal in the weekend's 3-0 win over Chelsea and has won admirers in the Premier League for his performances.

Newcastle had already seen a £20m offer rejected earlier in the transfer window and have now seen another bid turned down for the England Under-21 international.

12.00 BST: What's up with Chelsea?

11.05 BST: Villarreal and Valencia target Edinson Cavani has arrived in Spain with a view to completing a transfer.

Cavani, 35, is expected to play in LaLiga for the first time in his career as he is a free agent after spending the last two seasons at Manchester United.

The Uruguay international spoke to the press after landing in Madrid this weekend but remained tightlipped on his future when he said: "There are a few things but nothing certain to comment on. Football is football. You have to go where you are wanted. I have to continue to work and wait."

Asked if his future will be decided soon, he said: "I really hope so."

10.46 BST: Valencia are in advanced talks with Tottenham to take Bryan Gil on a season-long loan, according to Superdeporte.

Gil, 21, spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia from Spurs and made 13 league appearances.

The Spain international is keen to return to Valencia and is waiting to be given the green light to do so. But Tottenham are waiting to get a replacement for the winger before allowing him to depart.

10.08 BST: Argentina international Juan Foyth will continue at Villarreal this season amid strong interest from Barcelona.

Foyth, 24, spent last season on loan at Tottenham but is under contract until June 2026 and is now considered a key player by coach Unai Emery.

The right-back is Barca coach Xavi's preferred choice to strengthen their defensive line, but Villarreal have no intention to negotiate a deal as Foyth has a €42m release clause.

And Villarreal vice-president Jose Manuel Llaneza reassured fans that Foyth is staying put.

"We have nothing to fear regarding Foyth's case," Llaneza said. "I have met with the player's agents and they have told me so. He is enthusiastic about playing at Villarreal and will stay."

09.38 BST: Arsenal are in talks with Nice over a loan move for Nicolas Pepe, meaning they want to sign a new winger this summer, says The Athletic.

The Gunners have already spent big on Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira and Marquinhos, but reportedly want Wolves' Pedro Neto.

Talks are ongoing, though Neto has a contract until 2027 and Wolves will not want to let one of their top players depart cheaply.

09.04 BST: Burkina Faso forward Bertrand Traore has joined Istanbul Basaksehir on a season-long loan from Aston Villa

08.43 BST: AC Milan have made a fresh move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga, reports Calciomercato. Milan are looking to replace Alessio Romagnoli, who moved to Lazio on a free transfer, before the transfer window closes on Sept. 1.

A move for Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Abdou Diallo appears to have fallen through so Milan are ready to turn their attentions back to Tanganga, who was linked with a move to San Siro earlier this summer.

Tanganga, 23, will struggle for game time at Spurs this season but so far the two clubs cannot agree on terms. Spurs are looking for a loan deal with an obligation to make it permanent for €25m, but Milan only want the option to sign the player at the end of the loan.

08.00 BST: Manchester United are considering making an improved transfer offer for Ajax winger Antony, sources told ESPN's Rob Dawson on Sunday evening.

United have already seen an €80m bid rejected by the Dutch side, who have told United chiefs they would only consider a financial package worth closer to €100m.

Sources have told ESPN that United have not given up on signing the Brazilian, partly because he has made it known to Ajax he wants to move to Old Trafford. The 22-year-old was left out of the squad for the 1-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday after informing the club he "did not feel 100% ready to play."

How did it go so wrong for Chelsea in Leeds humiliation?

Janusz Michallik feels Chelsea are severely lacking in attacking options and need to strengthen immediately in that area.

- Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg has offered an update on the situation of Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita, stating that the Manchester United game on Monday could prove important in deciding his future. The Reds and Jurgen Klopp want him to stay and extend his contract, but talks have stopped and no agreement is in sight as the Guinea international wants to play regularly.

- Internazionale and Lazio are close to completing their negotiations regarding Francesco Acerbi, reports Sky Sports Italia, adding that the deal will likely be some form of loan. This will not involve an obligation to make the move permanent and Acerbi will act as the replacement for Andrea Ranocchia after Inter removed Milan Skriniar from the transfer market.

- Leeds United and Newcastle United are battling with Brighton & Hove Albion for LAFC midfielder Jose Cifuentes, claims The Sun. This comes after the two clubs were tipped off that the Seagulls were trying to complete a £6m move for the Ecuador international, who has scored seven goals during the current Major League Soccer season.

- Stade Rennais are hoping to beat Lille to the signing of Nantes forward Ludovic Blas, reports Foot Mercato. So with Blas seemingly open to joining Rennes, they could suffer even more frustration after losing 7-1 to Paris Saint-Germain.

- West Ham United and Crystal Palace are planning on making a €10m offer for Al-Hilal striker Moussa Marega, according to Ekrem Konur. Fenerbahce are also continuing talks with the former Porto frontman's agent as they attempt to complete a move.
