Juventus' Andrea Barzagli replaces injured Giorgio Chiellini vs. Barcelona

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has called on Andrea Barzagli to replace the injured Giorgio Chiellini for Saturday's Champions League final against Barcelona.

Chiellini was ruled out of the game in Berlin earlier this week after picking up a calf injury, with the centre-back then taking time to thank fans for their support following the news.

Barzagli, who had been struggling with a thigh injury sustained last month, will instead partner Leonardo Bonucci in the heart of the Juve defence, with Allegri preferring him to Angelo Ogbonna.

Elsewhere, former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata gets the nod to line up alongside Carlos Tevez up front for Juve, with Fernando Llorente having to make do with a place on the bench.

Barca, meanwhile, are able to call upon Andres Iniesta, despite the midfielder picking up a calf problem during last weekend's Copa del Rey final triumph over Athletic Bilbao.

Iniesta missed training earlier this week before rejoining the squad on Thursday, and will now captain the Blaugrana in what is his fourth Champions League final.

Iniesta's inclusion means Xavi Hernandez has to settle for a place on the Barca bench.

Xavi will be making his final appearance for Barca, and a record 151st in the Champions League, should he come on ahead of his summer move to Qatari side Al-Sadd.

As expected, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez form Barca's attack, with the trio having hit 120 goals between them in all competitions this season.
