Last season was tough for the Nuggets, who spent the year adjusting to new head coach Brian Shaw and wound up 11th in the Western Conference. Their 36-46 record after a 57-win season in 2012-13? Reminiscent of Denver's 55-spot plummet down our rankings.
But take heart, Nuggets fans. The average ticket price ($53.15) is right around the NBA average, and game-goers can keep a few extra bucks in their pockets thanks to the Pepsi Center's cheap parking, $10 a pop. And even if the on-court product remains less than stellar, at least you'll watch in comfort: The arena recently installed leather-style seating throughout the venue. The Nuggets' offseason was relatively quiet (an Arron Afflalo return notwithstanding), so Denver fans can't expect their squad to make more noise out west this year (down 35 spots to 117 in title track). For now the promise of cheap goods and leather-ish seats will have to keep spirits high in the Mile High City.
