The Philippines secured twin silver medals in the figure skating competition of the 30th Southeast Asian Games as Alisson Perticheto and Christopher Caluza finished in second place after the free skating program Sunday at the SM Megamall Ice Skating Rink.

Perticheto, last SEA Games' bronze medalist, settled for silver in the ladies' event after earning a total score of 132.76 in the two-day tournament.

The Filipino-Swiss figure skater topped the short program with 53.65 points last Friday but fell short of the gold after finishing second in Sunday's free skating segment with a score of 79.11.

Singapore's Chloe Ing reigned supreme following a stunning performance that garnered 102 points, bringing her total to 152.67. Ing improved from her silver medal finish in the 2017 edition of the Games.

Indonesia's Savika Refa Zahira placed third with 100.80 points.

In the men's event, Caluza gained a total score of 180.22 to cop the silver medal in his SEA Games debut.

Caluza earned 117.85 points in free skate, replicating his second-place finish in the short program last Friday where he scored 62.37.

Olympian Julian Zhi Jie Yee of Malaysia successfully defended his SEA Games title after an impressive routine that got a 202.62 nod from the judges.

Micah Kai Lynette of Thailand finished with 174.06 points to complete the medalists.

Filipino Edrian Paul Celestino missed the podium and settled for fourth place, debuting in the biennial meet with a total score of 169.59.

Fellow Philippine bet Cirinia Gillett finished with 71.23 to land at the bottom of the ladies' event.
