Darius Miles and Quentin Richardson are spending the majority of the summer in Q's hometown of Chicago. They're working out together at Michael Jordan's "Hoops: The Gym" in preparation for next season.
Darius and Q are both featured athletes under Michael's "Brand Jordan" line are rarely ever seen not rocking their Jordan Brand gear.
Darius says he got his first pair of Jordan sneakers when he was in 7th grade as a gift from his mother.
Three drafts ago, the Clippers took Miles right out of high school with the 3rd pick - the highest any high schooler had ever been selected. The next year the Wizards took Kwame Brown with the #1 overall selection.
D-Miles and Q have perplexed hoop fans for a year with their celebratory double-fisted head pounds after they score, because they refuse to tell anyone what the symbol means.
Darius and Q are fiercely proud of where they've come from, both paying homage to their old 'hoods with tattoos. Darius sports one that says "The King of East St. Louis" while Q has "Chi-town's Finest" on his arm.
Darius' replica jersey is a top 10 seller world-wide; up there with the likes of Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter.
After the season ended with Clippers barely missing the playoffs, Q went on a vacation in the Bahamas to unwind before getting back to work.
After his basketball career is over, Darius says he'd like be a broadcaster.
A few years back, Quentin appeared on the cover of ESPN the Magazine's college preview edition. He was done up to look like the character "Pinhead" from the "Hellraiser" movie series.

"With us growing up watching Mike and idolizing him to now being able to have a relationship with him and also get paid to wear his shoes … But we still always tell him if they're ugly."

Quentin and Darius were recently 2 of the stars of ESPN's series "Sidelines: LA Hoops." Q says he went out of his way to be funny when the cameras were on him, patterning his persona after actor Mike Epps - "Day-Day" from the movie Next Friday … The duo appeared in the Spike Lee directed Brand Jordan TV commercials with them playing ball to a jazz soundtrack … Darius also appeared in Nike's famous "Freestyle" basketball commercials with other players such as Clippers teammate Lamar Odom and Vince Carter … Q and D-Miles are video game freaks, playing as much as they possibly can. During the season they played each other in Nintendo's NBA Courtside 2002 in a competition that was chronicled on the Clippers home page … The two helped Nintendo in the game's creation, offering advice on the play as well as their own video game likenesses. D-Miles' review? "I like my body. I've got muscles and stuff. They make me look good" … D-Miles and Q were very nearly broken up on draft day. The Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers were oh so close to pulling off a deal that would have sent Miles to Cleveland in exchange for the Cav's star point guard Andre Miller. Clips's owner Donald Sterling apparently pulled the plug on the deal at the last second, not willing to give up Darius …
