Rose Bowl will be first game | ||||
ABC Sports, the network of college football, announced today its coverage of the four BCS Bowl games, beginning Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005 with the Rose Bowl Game Presented by Citi (4:30 p.m., ET) and culminating Tuesday Jan. 4 with the BCS National Championship Game - the FedEx Orange Bowl (8:00 p.m., ET), will be broadcast in High Definition Television (HDTV). ABC's broadcast in HDTV also includes the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Saturday, Jan.1 at 8:30 p.m., ET and Nokia Sugar Bowl on Monday, Jan.3, at 8:00 p.m. ET. The ABC Television Network's HDTV broadcast of the BCS games will air in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format. |
