For 13-weeks this summer on ESPN2 (May 8-August 7), 2001 Tuesday Night Fights Presented by Miller High Life will join ESPN2 Friday Night Fights Presented by Miller High Life, the successful weekly series which debuted October 2, 1998.

Tuesday's two-hour shows present only live boxing, unlike the 2-1/2 hour Friday series, which features a studio element with host Brian Kenny and analyst Max Kellerman. Similar to ESPN2 FNF, Tuesday's cards feature PunchStat, which compiles each fighter's jabs and power punches thrown and landed.

Since ESPN2 Friday Night Fights debuted October 2, 1998, with blow-by-blow commentator Bob Papa and ringside analyst Teddy Atlas, it is the network's highest-rated series (.8 rating, 543,640 homes).

Describing all the action of the new ESPN2 summer boxing series are Mario Diaz and Kellerman, with ringside reporter Cassandra Henderson. Diaz, a sports anchor at KTNV-TV in Las Vegas, has translated TVKO fights to Spanish for Spanish cable systems in the United States and Europe, while Henderson is a former CNN reporter, anchor and host, also serving as freelance boxing analyst.
