EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Sparks waived guard Rita Adams and forward Sonja Brown.

Adams, a 5-foot-8 forward from Kentucky, led the SEC in steals.

Brown, a 6-5 forward from Southern Mississippi, averaged six points and 6.4 rebounds in college.

The moves reduced the Sparks' training camp roster to 12 players.

WNBA All-Stars DeLisha Milton and Mwadi Mabika are expected to arrive this week, along with center Ericka Desouza, after they complete their overseas playing commitments.
