ATLANTA -- Diana Taurasi missed the Phoenix Mercury's game against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night because of a back injury.
The WNBA's leading scorer fell hard on her back Sunday and missed the fourth quarter of a loss at Washington. She is listed as day to day.
Taurasi, who won league MVP and WNBA Finals MVP awards last year, watched the game against Atlanta from the bench while dressed in team warm-ups.
Taurasi leads the WNBA with a 22.9-point scoring average.
